Hi,
Unfortunately I've had no luck with this driver. The testing machine has
been running a few Linuxes (Slackware, CentOS, Fedora, Arch, Gentoo,
openSUSE, Ubuntu) over the years, so I'm quite proficient in setting up
quirky hardware (only to say "not my fault" :oD).
I keep getting :
Fatal server error:
No screens found
... and I don't have the slightest idea why. Yes, I thought about
rebooting after install. Also checked if 'nouveau' was blacklisted OK,
so as not to interfere.
But then, maybe it's time to settle for the 'nouveau' driver, since
results are more than OK, and I don't really need 3D, since I intend to
use it on *work*stations.
Cheers,
Niki
