well, i don't have technical arguments for "i need it" .. for the "i
just want it" part i have only "the latest hardware support" (and maybe
technology .. i seen ext4 patches sent with every release so if i want
to use ext4 i would want the latest vanilla) and my personal opinion
that everyone (every distro) should use only vanilla version of software
and anything found wrong to be sent upstream to be patched .. IMHO would
be a (much) better (oss) world this way :D
