One thing we can all agree upon is that you still see an error when
attempting to compile kqemu. However this time, with my recent
considerations of the kernel-ml-devel packages still fresh in my mind,
I can see nothing that causes me any concern. I think the time has
come for me to set up a local test system and attempt a few typical
external module builds for myself.

If there is anyone with a sacrificial VM (for example) who could do
that easily, then please indicate your intent. Help at any level is
appreciated. What I do not want, is for various people to perform
identical tests and obtain the same results.

For example, there are three different kernel-ml packages to test.
Assuming test systems with nVidia graphics controllers, the
installation and build of the external graphics module would be a very
good test. One 64-bit, one 32-bit standard and one 32-bit NONPAE.

Another area which requires further experimentation is that of the
issue noticed by Dag Wieers. At present, I know of four separate test
installations where that issue has not been observed.

Enough of my words . . .

Alan.
