It is Linbit's current 'stable' release. But there is an 8.4.1 coming 
along soon (and an 8.3.12 for which there is already an -rc1 tarball). 
However, if you have a current DRBD setup that is using 8.3.x then you 
need to know that 8.4 introduces some config file changes and command 
line changes that make it not backwards compatible with the 8.3.x series 
however, it is possible to have 8.4 on one node and 8.3 on the other, at 
least for the duration of the upgrade of both nodes though long term 
running like this is not particularly recommended. Linbit's web site 
says that new features will still be added to 8.3.12 but after that it's 
into bug-fix-only maintenance until December 2012.
