I could have sworn I downloaded yum config for elrepo. In
/etc/yum.repos.d I have elrepo.repo. I manually disabled
"[elrepo-testing]", but modified before attempting to follow your commands.

I wouldn't be shocked if I did something wrong.

I'll resolve and report back to the original thread.
