This is a known issue, and the solution is posted at the end of this bug
report:

Unfortunately, because it involves patching a binary driver, elrepo is
not able to redistribute such a fix under the license terms. We have
reported the issue upstream but have so far received no response:

I don't see any reason why you can't use the posted solution for your
own use though.
