You don't need to uninstall the previous drivers if you are doing a
straight update. Just do:
yum --enablerepo=elrepo-testing update kmod-nvidia

If you want the older 340.xx release, just do:
yum install kmod-nvidia
If you want the newer 346.35 release from the testing repo:
yum --enablerepo=elrepo-testing install kmod-nvidia
