Greetings,
I am currently running SL7 on my desktop and I have a e100 ethernet card as
a dedicated ethernet bridge for my VMs. Unfortunately the latest kernel
that works with the current build of the module os 3.10.0-514.26.2.el7. I
testing this on SL7 and CentOS7 and received the same resullts.
Attempting to install the module without that kernel will pull the kernel
as a dependency.
$ sudo yum install kmod-e100

Besides the obvious of buying a new/supported ethernet card, can this
module be updated to support the newer kernels, or would it require
building the kernel with skb_clone_tx_timestamp enabled. What other
options do I have to get this card functional with newer kernels.
Thank you in advance,
Greg Yeomans
