Afaik, the ClearOS kernel is an el7 kernel patched for IMQ only. It does
mean I have to recompile all the Elrepo sources because your compiled
ones don't work on ClearOS - I've been doing that for years for the NIC
drivers. I only recently started using tpe and only on a play VM which
is not often on. I had no problem with any of the 7.4 kernels, but get a
fair number of crashes with the 7.5 kernel. It has just crashed now as I
booted up to check something before writing the e-mail, but the VM then
worked on a reboot. I'm just registering an account to file a bug. The
annoying thing is that I can't get a text dump; just a screenshot and I
can't scroll back. I believe there is a way of enabling a serial port
and redirecting the output there but I don't know the details.
