[elrepo] RH Satellite 6.6 - unable to sync repository - 406 Not Accepted

Hello all.

In the process of migrating from RH Satellite 5.8 to 6.6, I have run into an issue with synchronizing the elrepo repositories.


Mar 18 08:42:20 *****.cmu.edu pulp[116607]: nectar.downloaders.threaded:INFO: Download failed: Download of https://elrepo.org/linux/elrepo/el7/x86_64/.treeinfo failed with code 406: Not Acceptable


Mar 18 08:42:19 *****.cmu.edu pulp[116607]: nectar.downloaders.threaded:INFO: Download failed: Download of https://elrepo.org/linux/elrepo/el7/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml failed with code 406: Not Acceptable

The same happens for the el8 paths as well.

Has anyone else encountered this or have a suggestion?

Attempts to retreive the referenced files via curl succeed without any issues. I presume there is some header being passed which is causing this. I have a support ticket open with Red Hat already, but all that has been offered so far is a suggestion to use a mirror site instead.
