Hi Tamas,

Welcome to the list.

We can certainly look at this. Red Hat have backported updated WiFi 
stacks to both el7 and el8 from 5.x series kernels so it should be 
possible to backport this driver from the matching upstream kernel release.

I would appreciate if you could register on elrepo.org/bugs, and open 
RFEs against both el7 and el8 for this request. We can then use those 
RFEs to track progress. We will hopefully have something for you to test 
by the weekend.
