I'd be happy to test the driver.
Thank you
Dan

CentOS 5.6 box. Every time I update the kernel, the driver needs to be
recompiled. A friend at the CentOS forum suggested that an ELRepo driver may be
a better solution. Any chance of getting an ELRepo package. I can develop in
C, but I have never developed device drivers.

Hi Dan,
Yes, an elrepo kABI-tracking kmod package of your driver would be ideal
as it will survive kernel updates seamlessly meaning you won't need to
recompile it for every kernel update.
Thanks for providing the above information. We (Alan actually) already
packages a number of these realtek drivers, but so far not yours. I see
the driver source code for your driver on the realtek website so it
should be simple enough to do. I'm assuming Alan will pick this up on
his return as he's done the rest of the realtek drivers (I think he's
been away for a couple days).
I trust you'll be able to test the driver package for us?
Regards,
Phil
