The only other modification I would see as needed  [ for almost any 
other package but kernels ] would be "Obsoletes: kernel-ml <3.0.45". But 
since kernels are parallel installable, I do not see anything else that 
needs to be done via the spec except for replacing the old Provides ( 
kernel-ml) with the new one.
